Marcelo Moretti made a negative impression by reappearing in public just over a month after his removal as president of San Lorenzo. He unexpectedly participated in a streaming party where he looked relaxed and made statements that further angered fans.
The former president of San Lorenzo defended himself against judicial allegations in a relaxed atmosphere on the "El método azulgrana" streaming channel, which did not go unnoticed in the club's world and once again angered fans.
The former executive, charged with fraudulent administration, arrived at the show in a San Lorenzo shirt and a box of empanadas, sharing the broadcast as if it were an informal meeting and even playing video games with the channel's members.
In this context, Moretti again denied receiving a bribe of $25,000, an incident that sparked the scandal that led to the end of his tenure: "I'm 50 years old, I've done very well in my life, $25,000 won't make me change my mind, not $100,000 or $200,000. I say this with humility," he stated bluntly in one of his regrettable comments.
Moretti also defended his role in sporting decisions during his time at the club and claimed he was actively involved in building the squads: "I told the coaches: this is the budget, but let me have a say too."
